Our brand draws inspiration from the story of Lawrence of Arabia, the refined and elegant English officer, Thomas Edward Lawrence, who was in charge of relations with the Arab tribes in 1916. He was captivated by their fashion and philosophy of life, and ultimately joined them to fight at the Battle of Aqaba.

Upon returning to England, he championed their unification and independence before the British government… even going so far as to dress like them when he spoke in Parliament: quite shocking in 1918!

A century later, the founder of LAWRENCE settled in Morocco and began traveling extensively for work: Algeria, Dubai, Oman, as well as Senegal and Kenya, and even India and Thailand. Gradually, he too abandoned his suits and ties for local attire, drawn to the local fabrics and traditional craftsmanship.

Yes, LAWRENCE is also a cause, not just a fashion vision! A brand inspired by the world, it aims to be as fashionable as it is committed to cultural, social, and environmental issues.

• Committed to defending traditional skills and fabrics (Sousdi, Wax, Batik, etc.) that are increasingly struggling against the low-cost fast fashion that floods the world.

• Committed to fighting the inhumane working conditions of factory-like workshops. Our workshops are small units, employing local, skilled seamstresses who are fairly paid and enjoy full social rights.

• Committed to fighting the ecological disasters of fast fashion: our designs are made to order, using traditional handcrafted fabrics or fabrics purchased from the surplus stock of fashion houses. They are therefore produced in limited quantities.

Our designs are created to allow your SENSUALITY to express itself, enhancing your body and allowing you to be yourself.

To achieve this, we revisited traditional outfits, simple, understated, raw and without artifice, just adapted to urban life.

Our designs are made exclusively from NATURAL FABRICS (linen, cotton, silk), crafted using traditional methods (Bogolan, Keria, Batik for the WINTER collection), hence their RARITY.

Each design, for a given fabric, will be produced in small quantities (between 20 and 50 pieces) and will be numbered.
